POLICY
Editorial Standards
Napa Valley AI is an independent regional technology publication. These standards bind every item we publish.
Accuracy and verification. Every factual claim traces to a retrievable source. News items follow a two-source rule. Company data, funding figures, deployment statuses, and quotes are verified against published sources before publication.
No fabrication. We do not invent companies, people, products, prices, dates, events, quotes, or deployments. An item that cannot be sourced does not ship.
Attribution. Quotes are verbatim from published sources and attributed. Data provenance is recorded internally for verification.
Independence. Editorial coverage is decided by the editors, not by advertisers, sponsors, or any company we cover. See Advertising Disclosure and Conflict of Interest.
Conflicts. Coverage of companies connected to the publication's owner carries a visible disclosure; see the Conflict of Interest page.
Source confidentiality. We protect confidential sources where a source requests protection and the public interest warrants it.
House bylines. Articles on this site carry named bylines: the publication's staff of journalists. Staff biography pages carry name, role, and beat only.
Corrections. We correct errors fast and transparently; see the Corrections page.
